David Koren is a seasoned government affairs professional with more than fifteen years of experience building and sustaining influential relationships with policymakers across Ohio. He has a proven track record of advancing policy initiatives that have secured hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for his clients.

Known for his strategic approach to legislation and advocacy, David combines deep political insight with an ability to navigate Ohio’s complex regulatory environment. His work has helped clients make informed decisions and successfully advance their priorities within the state’s political landscape.

David develops, coordinates, and executes comprehensive lobbying strategies and maintains established relationships within the Ohio General Assembly, the Governor’s Office, executive agencies, and key statewide stakeholder groups. His expertise extends across Ohio’s regulatory and legislative processes.

Beyond state government, David’s network includes leaders in Ohio’s business community, economic development organizations, philanthropic institutions, and local governments. This broad reach enables him to shape policy outcomes and deliver meaningful results for clients.

Prior to serving as President of Koren Consulting and Executive Director of the Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association, David held senior government affairs roles as Director of Government Affairs at Columbia Gas of Ohio and Vice President at Strategic Impact Consulting. His legislative experience spans energy policy, public utility regulation, tax reform, economic development, safety enforcement, and environmental issues.

David earned his undergraduate degree in Business Economics and Business Pre-Law from Ohio University and later completed a Master’s degree in Financial Economics at the same institution.
